Kathmandu, May 28: A video message is to be given by president Dr Ram Baran Yadav on the situation after the natural disaster in the country and on the occasion of the Republic Day today at 7 pm from Shital Niwas.
According to Rajendra Dahal, the President’s Press Advisor, the President who on previous occasions had been giving written statements is doing so this time through video. Since some days president Yadav has been making on-site observation of damaged caused due to earthquake.
As the country has been hit by natural calamity and since the government has decided to adopt austerity measures,on the occasion of the Republic Day unlike in the past there will not be any programmes like tea reception tomorrow, Friday.
