The sit-in programme was arranged by the Professional Alliance for Peace and Democracy (PAPAD) and coordinated by the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ). Its participants chanted the slogan “Let’s not forget commitments to the people, promulgate the constitution within coming January 22”, pressing the political parties in the CA for drafting the statute within the scheduled timeframe.
