Kathmandu, May 12, 2015: According to the Ministry of Education, the schools in the quake-hit districts are to remain closed until May 29 Following Tuesday’s 6.8-magnitude earthquake.
The Ministry had announced the school closure till May 14 in earlier earthquake in deadly April 25.
The decision was taken in the 14 most affected districts to shut down the schools while the District Education Offices (DEO) in other districts will decide on the intensity of the damages caused by the earthquakes on the resumption of the closed school depending , said Spokesperson of the Ministry Dr Hari Lamsal.
The respective District Natural Disaster Rescue Committees in the districts concerned the DEOs will act on the recommendations furnished by .
