Kathmandu, August 21, 2015: Situated in Pashupati Area, The Bishworupa Temple has been demolished  due to the heavy  rain throughout Thursday night.

Member–secretary of the Pashupati Area Development Trust, Dr Govinda Tondon said that the pinnacle of the temple, part of which was already destroyed by the April 25 earthquake, has almost been demolished. Tandan also said that they were finding it hard to perform daily rituals in the temple as a result.

The Pashupati Area is enlisted as an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
