Jumla, September 28, 2016: Nepal’s biggest lake Rara has become a popular destination for both foreign and domestic tourists with access by road reaching there.

It may take some more time to gain popularity at every level. However, the number of people visiting the lake two weeks after Dashain this year has reached around 2,600.

According to a tourism entrepreneur Gopal Bam, although there was no mobility of tourists during rainy season, this time around, daily 150 to 200 tourists have been reportedly visiting the lake since Dashain festival concluded.

With huge outbound of tourists to the area, it has become tough duty for the tourism entrepreneurs managing their services.

Most of the tourists visiting Rara Lake are domestic among which majority of them are from Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Pokhara, Chitwan, Bhairahawa, Butwal, Surkhet and some eastern district, Bam said.
