June 3, 2015: Rafael Benitez signed a three year contract with Real Madrid to become Reals new manager. 55 year old Spaniard ended a two year contract with Napoli.
Benitez said that I am enthusiastic and happy, although there are things that still need to be discussed after arriving in Madrid. Real Madrid confirmed that the club will unveil the new manager in a press conference at 12:00 BST on Wednesday.
Benitez managed number of European clubs which includes Liverpool, Inter Milan, Valencia, Chelsea, and Napoli.
Its not the first time he is managing Spanish club. He has already won 2 LaLiga title with Valencia.
