May 22, 2015: According to the District Administration Office in Jhapa people there collected a total of Rs 23.098 million so far for the quake victims.
Rs 51,111 was donated by Parasuram Dhakal of Birtamod on Thursday. Jhapa President of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Bhim Nembang and Secretary Ekraj  was handed money by Dhakal to deposit it to Prime minister relief fund.
Social worker Dhakal provided Rs 51,000 to Sunkoshi River victims last year too. Rajbanshi Society Development Committee, Birtamod, and Gaurwati Satanu Rajbanshi Memorial Foundation also provided Rs 40,000 each for the quake victims.
