Makwanpur, May 2, 2015:  8,000 tarpaulin sheets and necessary food stuffs has been provided to the earthquake victim  In Makwanpur district.
More than 10,537 houses were destroyed in the district according to preliminary report.The district lost 34 lives. One hundred persons injured in the quake have been receiving treatment at different hospitals in the district.
Relief distribution was being carried out in coordination with political parties, former parliamentarians and Constituent Assembly members, said Chief District Officer Ram Prasad Thapaliya.
Besides that  the various social organizations distributed 15,000 rubber mattresses to the victim families .
