While the world witnesses single women achieving greater heights with each passing day, it is now time for the married Indian ladies to shine the brightest. Leading the way is a mother of a 15-year-old, a dentist by profession and a social worker by passion; Mrs. Dr Jasmine Toor Bhatara.
Jasmine’s journey into the world of fame began post her marriage to Dr. Amit Bhatara in 2000. Her husband’s interest in photography and her natural beauty eventually led to Jasmine winning the title of ‘Mrs. India’ and a runner-up at the ‘Mrs Universal 2016’ pageant.
All the 40-year-old beautiful doctor from Jalandhar did was fill out an online form for the pageant and before she knew it, she was walking the ramp and representing her country for the Universal pageant in Nevada, USA.
Although Mrs. Bhatara has a young child at home, the support she received from her in-laws and husband is what helped her achieve this feat.
If rumours are to be believed, the ‘Trendsetter’ has also bagged quite a few offers from Bollywood and regional cinema, including big banners like Viacom and Fox Productions. “Now movies aren’t just about hero and heroines. Now script-oriented movies are being made and I am ready to play strong character roles,†stated the Dr in excitement.
