Beni (Myagdi), Jan 4: A total of 40 migrant workers from Chitwan, Gulmi, Nuwakot and Myagdi and Baglung districts, who had gone to Malaysia for overseas employment, have been rescued after two months.

Rajan Thapa of Beni Municipality-3, Man Bahadur Sarki and Ram Bahadur GC of Bhakimli-2 in Myagdi district and Suman Niure of Galkot in Baglung district, among others had gone to Malaysia through Dosling Manpower Company on November 5.

Rajan Thapa told RSS in a telephone call from Malaysia that the job providing company in Malaysia called them back to work from Saturday after the Rastriya Samachar Samiti disseminated news that they were stranded in Malaysia for lack of work.

The RSS on January 1 had disseminated the news that they were living in Malaysia without food for the past two months for lack of job.

Thapa said that the Viper Force Company in Malaysia called the 40 workers to work from Saturday under the pressure of Nepal-based Manpower Company, government bodies and stakeholders as a result of the RSS disseminated the news.
