Rupam Ghosh, 19, Finalist of Wai Wai Glocal Teen Hero India 2019 from West Bengal India, is an entrepreneur and a national awardee. He is the inventor of Cooling Jacket and Cooling Burqa for which he got patent at the age of 16. He is also a fellow of the New York Academy Of Sciences and a research student at Mechanical Engineering IIT, Kharagpur. He has worked with several renowned companies like INFOSYS, LOCK HEED MARTIN, S&P GLOBAL FOUNDATION, UNITED TECHNOLOGIES, CAPTAIN PLANET FOUNDATION etc. for the Global Challenges like wildfire, Aerospace Technology etc.
He has represented India in Global Science, Engineering,Technology & Mathematics Alliance Summit 2018 in New York. He is also an Entrepreneur and co-founder of the GHOSH INVENTIVES LLP. Now with this start up company the team is willing to gather village native women whom they will train the knitting skills to take them to company of cooling jacket. This Cooling Jacket is not only an invention, but it’s also a need of the hot regions in the world. Also the Cooling Burqa is the invention that is first introduced by him ever in the history. He looks forward to giving job and stabilizing the economic infrastructure.
