SAARC dingnitaries return to Kathmandu from Dhulikhel retreat

Dhulikhel,27 Nov 2014: The Heads of State and Government of the SAARC member countries have returned to Kathmandu after the completion of the retreat in Dhulikhel, Kavre.

The heads of state and government who arrived in Dhulikhel this morning in helicopters spent nearly four hours in Dhulikhel.

Prime Minister Sushil Koirala left here for Kathmandu a short while ago to welcome the heads of state and government at 18th South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Summit venue at the City Hall.

All the VVIPs also returned to Kathmandu by helicopter. The Government of Nepal organized the retreat at The Dwarika’s Resort.President of Afghanistan, Ashraf Ghani; President of Maldives, Abdulla Yameen Gayoom; President of Sri Lanka, Mahinda Rajapaksa; Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi; Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaj Sharif and Prime Minister of Bhutan, Tshering Tobgay attended the retreat.

However, Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina Wajed, was not present in the retreat.
