SAARC railway extension to be discussed in this SAARC summit

Kathmandu, 11 Nov 2014: Minister for Foreign Affairs Mahendra Bahadur Pandey has said that the SAARC member countries are prepared to be united for creativity and peace in 18th SAARC summit.

Speaking in an interaction programme organised in course of SAARC summit preparations in the capital today, Minister Pandey said that the ministerial level agreement would be held for free movement of people, energy crisis solution and SAARC railway extension in this summit.

The summit will be focused on agenda and agreement would be held on peace establishment, sustainable development in the region, quality education, terrorism eradication, environmental improvement, mutual benefit, and senior citizens’ respect and so on.  He further said that to be declared Kathmandu Declaration would be historical for the world as it will include different serious issues for the betterment of the people of the region.

The agendas mentioned in the paper in this summit would be materialized in practice, Minister Pandey added. RSS
