SAFF Championship 2015 which will be officially called as SAFF Suzuki Cup 2015 is all set to take place from 23rd December to 3rd January. All the matches of the tournament will be held at Trivandrum, India.

History in SAFF Championship.
Bangladesh have been Participating in the tournament since it’s establishment i.e. since 1993.  Talking about the trophies,Bangladesh had won the trophy just for a single time. In year 2003, Bangladesh were crowed champions of South Asia defeating Maldives on the penalty shoot out.  Beside that, Bangladesh were runner up for the two periods during 1999 and 2005 SAFF Championship.
Current Situation
Bangladesh have appointed Maruful Haque as their head coach. He is the first ever south-asian to get a UEFA A licence in 2015. He will work with the Bangladesh National football team till the end of SAFF Suzuki Cup 2015. The captain for the Bangladesh National football team is Mamunul Islam. The midfielder for midfielder for Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club has been in the national team since 2010 and has also scored two goals in International football.
Bangladesh will play a friendly match against Nepal National football team before they play in the  Trivandrum stadium.
