Kathmandu, Nov 8: A book ‘Sagarmatha Waripari’ (Across Sagarmatha) has been launched on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Nepal-China diplomatic relations.
The book published by China Radio International, Beijing after a year-long research and study was launched amidst a special programme here on Saturday.
The book has incorporated various dimensions between the two countries including political, diplomatic, social, economic, cultural and people’s-to-peoples’ relations affairs.
Nepal Academy Chancellor Ganga Prasad Upreti and Managing Director Sushil Raut jointly unveiled the memorial book.
On the occasion, Chancellor Upreti said China providing fuel in grant assistance to Nepal when the country has been severely hit by fuel crisis has once again proved that northern neighbour is always with Nepal during tough times. China’s goodwill towards Nepal and selfless support in favour of Nepal’s nationality and integrity have helped further strengthen people’s to people relations between the two close neighbours.
Officials of the Embassy of China, China Radio International Journalists and experts of Nepal-China relations were present on the occasion. They expressed their hope that bilateral relations existing between the two close neighbours for years would reach to a new height in the days ahead.
