School gets disabled-friendly toilet by Nepal Army

Rolpa, April 6, 2018: Nepal Army’s Khadgadal Battalion of Rolpa, has constructed a disabled-friendly toilet and handed it over to the Tara Secondary School, Bamruk.

Battalion Commander Ajaya Gurung said that the toilet was constructed at a budget of Rs 550 thousand as well as the voluntary labour contribution by the army personnel.

The toilet has three rooms. The students and teachers with disabilities would be comfortable.

The Key of the toilet was handed to school principal Obilal Mahara in the middle of the programme by Major General Rajendra Karki, Chief of the Nepal Army’s Mid-western Division Headquarters on Thursday.

Rolpa, Khadgadal Battalion has carried out many developments works in the district with the cooperation of the local people.
