Falebas (Parbat), June 11: A school at Parbat was shut down suspecting mass hysteria when students started to fall unconscious en masse.
According to local guardian Jeevan Thakuri, following repeated incidents of girl students falling unconscious all of a sudden the Mahendra Jyoti Higher Secondary School in Lankhudeurali of Parbat was shut down Wednesday afternoon. 15 girls student from grade 8 and 9 fell unconscious all of a sudden in the afternoon and had taken to the local primary health centre for treatment.
The students were handed to their guardians following the tratmenat.Assistant health worker at the centre, Nar Bahadur Baral said that their conditon normal but they showed sign of mass hysteria.
