Kathmandu, February 15, 2019: Even though the responsibility of conducting Secondary Examination Education has been given to the province by the Education Act, Nepal Education Board is preparing to conduct the exam this year as well. SEE is going to start from March 24 this year.

According to the Education Act, Local levels are responsible for conducting exams up to grade 8, provinces in charge of grade 10 exams and the NEB for holding 11 and 12 grade exams. Likewise, NEB mentioned that it would conduct the examination from 1,961 exam centers. Sixty-two sub-examination halls have already been fixed for selected teachers to check the answer sheets.

Similarly, question papers for the exams will be printed by Janak Education Materials Center from March 17.

NEB added further saying that the will prepare different question papers for each province and question papers for the optional subject will be the same for all the province.

A total of 511,000 regular students have already registered for the SEE this year. The government has allocated RS 26 million and RS 23 million for all seven provinces and the central government to conduct the exam respectively.
