Kathmandu, July 19, 2016: A women national cricket selection match is being held to form the national women’s cricket team to play in the World Cup.
The selection match will be held at TU cricket ground from July 23 to 26. The players deemed best ones would get opportunity to play in the selection match for the Asian region under the ICC Women World Cup to be held in Hong Kong later this year.
The National Sports Council will organize the selection match where there will be six teams – each one from the development region and one each from the Nepal Army, Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force. The game is played in T-20 format.
