Kathmandu, December 24, 2016:Â A number of companies have launched a slew of new products along with various freebies and discount offers in a bid to attract Christmas shoppers.
Apex Digital—Smart Store has launched Spot the Blue Santa, a communication campaign targeting the upcoming Christmas festival. Under the campaign, Apex Blue Santa has been providing various gifts from Wednesday. The scheme lasts until Christmas that falls on Sunday.
Apex Digital will award 10 winners a ZOPO mobile each and another five winners a ZTE mobile each. “In order to participate in the scheme, you have to spot Apex Blue Santa as he roams around town and take a photo,†Apex said in a press release.
Meanwhile, the company has also announced attractive discounts and special gift hampers on purchase of a smartphone. In addition, customers can win a bumper gift of a 32-inch LED TV and a scooty.
APEX Digital—Smart Store offers mobile phones like iPhone, Samsung, Gionee, HTC, ZTE, Xiaomi, Lenovo and ZOPO.
Likewise, Evolution Enterprise, the authorised distributor of Chinese smartphone ZTE, has launched Warm Winter Offer targeting Christmas and New Year. Under the scheme, buyers of ZTE products can win sure shot prizes through scratch cards.
Room heaters, thermo flasks and electric kettles from Baltra brand, power banks with a capacity of 2,600 mAh and 10,000 mAh, selfie sticks and cash prizes are among the sure shot prizes. “The offer will last throughout the months of winter,†ZTE said in a press release.
ZTE offers Axon E-lite and Axon minimodel mobile sets from the ZTE Axon series and S6, S7 and V7 variants of the ZTE Blade.
Similarly, internet service provider Vianet Communications has launched its Christmas and New Year offer entitled Santa ko Gift via Vianet. Under the scheme, Vianet customers get internet service with a connection speed of 5 Mbps for Rs975 per month.
Customers can also get free internet for three months by paying in advance for nine months, or one month’s free internet for making an advance payment for three months.
Regular customers of Vianet can receive a one-month bonus internet for every additional client they refer. Established in 1999, Vianet offers fibre optic service in the Kathmandu Valley.
Likewise, Jagdamba Motors, the sole authorized distributor for TVS scooters and motorcycles, has launched a Christmas Promotional Campaign offering sure shot gifts to test riders of its TVS scooter. Under the scheme, a test rider receives a cap and a pair of gloves free for doing a test drive. The offer applies to Wego, Scooty Zest, Dazz and Jupiter scooters.
