Shree Airlines initiates commercial flights


Kathmandu: Shree Airlines has conducted Kathmandu-Pokhara commercial flights. The Dash-8 series aircraft conducting two flights a day. The company has set one-way ticket from Kathmandu to Pokhara at Rs 2,000 and a one-way ticket for Pokhara to Kathmandu has been set at Rs 2,600.

Airlines institutional manager, Mr.Anil Manandhar said the airfare will be comparatively affordable for passengers and equally competitive with other airline companies. The flight will surely help to contribute to the national Visit Nepal 2020 campaign. Pokhara is the ninth destination of Airlines.

The flight duration between Tribhuvan International Airport and Pokhara Airport is around 20 minutes. Shree Airlines plans to operate five daily flights in the Kathmandu-Pokhara sector in the future.

Currently, Shree Airlines has four CRJ 200 series and two Dash-8 series aircraft and it has been conducting flights to Bhairawa, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, Bhadrapur, Biratnagar, Rajbiraj and Janakpur.
