Kathmandu, November 30, 2016: Simrik Air, a private helicopter service provider company in Nepal has brought a new chopper manufactured by Bell Helicopter in USA. The hi-tech copter landed in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
Chairman of Simrik Airlines Capt. Rameshwar Thapa has said that the machine equipped with modern technologies will be very effective in Nepali tourism service along with rescue works, food transportation, mountain sightseeing, development and survey woks.
The machine has a weightlifting capacity of 1160 Kg.
The helicopter will come into operation after a duration of two weeks.
With this new machine, Simrik Air has now a total of 4 helicopters.
