The supplementary exams of School Leaving Certificate (SLC) has commenced from today all over the nation.
The students who have failed maximum of Two subjects are given an opportunity to reaper in such supplementary Â exams . This exam is for the students who appeared in the SLC examinations in the academic year 2071, according to the Office of the Controller of Examination, Sanothimi.
The exam is scheduled up to August 12 , 2014 . A total of 234 examination centers and the same number of superintendents have been fixed for the examinations, said Bishnu Bahadur Dware, Examinations Controller at the Office, Sanothimi.
A total of 120,600 students are appearing in the SLC supplementary examinations this year, he added.
Most students in the supplementary exams will be appearing in exams for Maths, Science and English .As per the Examinations Controller Dware about 68,230 students are appearing the supplementary examinations for the subject of compulsory Maths, while 50,719 are attending for English subject and 33,077 in Science.
Similarly 10,639 students are appearing in optional Mathematics, 17,164 in Social Studies and 2,291 in Nepali subject in the Supplementary exams.
As many as 54,392 students are sitting for the exams in one subject while 66,235 are appearing in two subjects.
