Kathmandu, 29th January, 2015 :Â Â The Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare has prepared a strategy on raising public awareness against the effect of violence against children.
The recently prepared advocacy and communications strategy is aimed at lessening the negative effects of violence against children (VaC).

It comprises advocacy, communication, awareness campaign and information dissemination, among others, about the issues of children, said Radhika Aryal, an official at the Ministry.
The strategy is expected to be successful to minimize the violence against children, early marriage, trafficking, sexual assault, exploitation among others in line with the government campaign to fight physical and mental torture to children.
