Kathmandu, August 16, 2015: Due to a general strike organised by different political parties opposing the draft constitution, the normal life in the capital city is severely hit from today early morning.



At least 61 banda enforcers have been arrested by the police from different parts of the capital city this morning.





Vice-chairman of Federal Socialist Forum Nepal Rajendra Shrestha and other cadres were arrested, according to Superintendent of Nepal Police Bishwaraj Pokharel, also the Spokesperson of the Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu.


Till now, including one of journalist Rishi Damala, the banda enforcers have destroyed two vehicles in the capital city in front of the Bir Hospital while coming back from Nepalbani FM office at around 7:30 am.
