Students host science exhibition in Butwal

Butwal, January 16, 2017: Students of Kanti Higher Secondary School situated at the heart of Butwal in Hatbazar successfully conducted an exemplary science exhibition on January 15.

Kanti School panel of the Nepalese Students’ Club (NSC), a widely circulated network of school and college students had organized the event. NSC is actively working with the objective, “Let’s be total quality students to build a qualitative nation”, and is spread across all major cities of Nepal.

The science exhibition was being held with the motive of fostering & empowering young minds in the field of science and technology. A total of 35 teams from class 6 to 9 participated in the expo. The judging criteria was set as 50% of the total marks by judge’s evaluation, and the rest by the collective voting of teachers, guests and the guardians.

Different models, experiments, and instrument like Hydraulic City, Cable-Car, ATM Machine, Invisible Ink, Android Car, Hydro Dozer, Boat, Remote-Controlled Car, Bus, Volcano Eruption, a collection of endangered species among various other creations by the students were exhibited on the occasion. The event also saw an E-quiz contest.

The exhibition was visited by the School In-Charge, Principal, Vice-Principal, NSC President, teachers, students, and guardians.

The guardians visiting the exhibition were found elated to see the skills and innovation of the students. “I was amazed seeing the level of creativity, innovation, and enthusiasm of the school students,” shared one of the guardians visiting the expo.

The one-day long event concluded with the announcing & rewarding of the winners.
