Kathmandu, March 26, 2018 : Students of educational faculty are on hunger strike Maitighar Mandala, Katmandu demanding cancellation of scheduled examination on April 6 and select vacant teachers as per competition.
According to Puskar Sharma, coordinator of Students Struggle Committee, Rajan Lamsal of Morang, Milan Bastola of Bhojpur, Hemraj Thapa of Bajura, Sushant Bohara of Humla from Mahendra Ratna Campus and Ram Chandra Karki of Ramechhap have started group hunger strike.
Sharma also informed that to counter the fast-unto-death started by temporary teachers, students have begun the strike from today to change the amendment of Education Act.
