Kathmandu, Sept 29: Different students’ unions here have submitted a memorandum to the acting Minister for Foreign Affairs Khagraj Adhikari today.
The Nepal Students’ Union (NSU), All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU), All Nepal Independent Students Union (Revolutionary) (ANISU-R) among other unions submitted the memorandum to the acting Foreign Minister Adhikari against the step of India as she has indirectly declared border blockade against Nepal.
The students’ leaders have urged the government to resolve the internal disputes seen in terai belt through dialogues.
While receiving the memorandum Minister Adhikari said that the blockade has caused huge loss to both countries.
He informed that the government was working to open border from the northern side to ease the supply as Dashain, Tihar and Chhath, the great festivals of Nepalese were drawing closer.
