Why should you study Electronics and Communication Engineering?

Kathmandu, September 3, 2017: “Nowadays, there is an emerging trend among the youths to study Civil and Computer Engineering. Even though the scope of Electronics and Communication Engineering is as equal as of Civil and Computer Engineering, students are still unaware of the scope,” experts have pointed out in a special program organized in the capital today.

Educationists and industry professionals raised these points speaking in an interaction program “Why should you study Electronics and Communication Engineering?”, organized by Kathford International College of Engineering and Management in Balkumari, Lalitpur.

In the program, Guest Speaker Er. Rupak Shakya, Director of EB Pearls (an IT company based in Sydney), shared his ideas and experiences about the scope of Electronics and Communication Engineering among the youths.

Similarly, Engineer Saban Kumar KC, Lecturer and Project Coordinator at the college briefly presented the features and scopes of Electronics and Communication Engineering. KC made students aware that Electronics and Communication program will help to foster their skills not only in Electronics field but also in Computer related field.

Meanwhile, engineer Rupak Shakya said that the students will be eligible to work in IT related field as well after graduating in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Engineer Shakya has been giving opportunities of internship as well as job opportunities to the students of electronics and communication in his Sydney based IT Company. Dozens of students who graduated from Pulchowk Engineering Campus are currently working in EB Pearls.

Similarly, Mr. Suman Katuwal, Chairman of Kathford International College of Engineering and Management also inspired and motivated the interested students to study electronics and communication engineering.

The program was attended by the students who currently got enrolled in Electronics and Communication Engineering program in different colleges and those who are willing to explore the scope and opportunities in the sector.
