Babiyachaur (Myagdi), Aug. 7: Recently, a suspension bridge over Darkhola (river) in Muna VDC in Myagdi district was constructed.Keeping Â the troubles of the travellers in mind, the bridge construction was made.
. It is said that the locals of Muna and Mudi VDCs Â would be more benefited with a newly constructed bridge.It is also believed that the potential tourists will be in more advantage. Besides, the trekkers of the round Dhaulagiri Trekking Route would benefit mostly from the bridge construction.
Sub-engineer of the District Development Committee (DDC), Myagdi, Bal Krishna Poudel said that the 55-metre-long bridge was constructed with the total cost of Rs 2 million of DDC Myagdi, VDCs and SWAP.
Poudel further clarified that local community extended labour donation while the Milan Myagdi made technical assistance for the bridge construction.
