The most a person learns in his lifetime is as a student, especially while at school. Besides from having lots of memories with friends, we also have indelible memories of teachers too. We all had at least one favorite teacher, who understood and helped with the problems that we dealt with, be it related to studies or even personal. We have heard many stories of teachers and students having a strong relationship, which gave a student a new viewpoint of seeing the life.
After the parents, teachers are the one with whom children spend 7 hours of their day. As it said that school is our second home, similarly teachers are second parents who guides us to a better future and is committed to their students’ wellbeing. A good teacher always has passion towards his profession which makes them exceptional. They inspire us and help us to bring the best out of us. Educators doesn’t mean mentoring students just within the school premises but also giving them life lessons that they can take along their entire life. Some of them have enriching effect and there we get to hear another story of a teacher and a student.
A good educator understands that a student is more than just a grade. While some students just need a little push in their studies to get GPA 4 while some students might be struggling with financial condition in his family because of which he is irregular. Now this student needs someone whom he can share his problems with. Every student has their own issues and a teacher or a mentor needs to know the fact that there are various factors that affect the studies of the children and with their one small effort of understanding their needs, they can have a magnificent impact on the life of students that would make the students better human beings. Teachers can be that friend to a student, who can better understand the situation, and ultimately can guide them to the path of enlightenment. A great teacher makes learning exciting, as stimulating, engaging lessons are pivotal to a student’s academic success. Some students who are more prone to misconduct, truancy or disengagement are more dependent on an engaging teacher. Making the classroom a fun environment for learning will hold the students’ fascination, and students learn best when they are both challenged and interested.
Since teachers are those idols that children look up to be like when they grow up, they should thus, hold a good example to students, and present themselves in some good pictures.
