Kathmandu, August 20, 2018: Team Nepal grabs third win in a row in International Robotics Olympics. International Robotics Olympics: FIRST Global Robot Challenge is happening in Mexico.
Team Nepal was ranked second on the very first match. Utilizing the opportunity to participate, Nepal has been performing their best in the competition. Team Nepal was allied to the alliances Team Eritrea and Team Dominica. The alliance then competed against an alliance of Team Republic of Congo, Team Lesotho, and Team North America. Team Nepal won with 153 points scored vs 0 points. Team Nepal scored 613 points along with the team alliance of Team Norway and Team Argentina. The competition was with the alliance of Team Morocco, Team Angola, and Team France. On the other game, Team Nepal won the match being first along with the alliance with Team Cyprus and Tea Uruguay. The score was of 291 points with a win against 59 points by the alliance of Team Chile, Team Portugal, and Team Bermuda.
The FIRST Global robot Olympics is an annual culmination of focused STEM/robotic involvement of exponentially increasing student bodies from all nations in growing collaboration and Nepal is one of the countries giving its best on the performance.
