Kathmandu, August 9, 2018: Technorio Inc. introduces and implements cashless transaction and reject cash payments to promote digital payments in Nepal. It is the first IT company to announce that they will not be accepting cash anymore for payments and whole transactions will be carried out in transactions electronically.
Rastra Bank (NRB) published a data of Nepal spending around 94 Million Rupees in F.Y. 2073/74 just for printing Bank Notes of a different denomination. For eliminating more use of cash and proper transparency in every transaction, digital payment is introduced. In verse of getting cashless, Technorio has already partnered with different payment gateways including Khalti and nPay. As a POS device service will be provided for the payments at the office premises. Technorio has limited time schemes like 15% cash back on all transactions made and many gifts hamper available to encourage its customers. Also partner companies/ organization, clients, customers, organization, clients are highly encouraged to shift from traditional cash transactions to cashless digital transactions.
Technorio team has been very positive about the initiation of cashless Nepal as customers can now make payments to any of the services provided by Technorio via their Khalti account, SCT Cards, as well as e-banking and mobile banking of various banks.
