Temporary Huts Constructed For Quake Survivor

Kathmandu, June 9, 2015: At Chilaune of Gokarneshwor Municipality-1 a total of 10 temporary huts constructed by a social organisation have been handed over to the earthquake survivors today.

The huts has been handed to the local  people like Jayram Khatri, Bishnu Pokharel Khatri, Kanchhi Tamang, Suklaxmi Tamang, Kanchha Tamang, Thuli Tamang, Yagar Tamang, Shanker Tamang, Namin Tamang and Rajman Tamang by the Minister for Youth and Sports, Purushottam Poudel.

The shelter has been constructed by the Asha – the Hope Foundationthrough the donation collected from the Nepalis living abroad.

Minister Poudel informed that  the government has adopted a policy to provide Rs 15,000 to construct temporary shelters and Rs 200,000 for temporary shelters to the genuine quake survivors in the occasion.
According to Foundation Chairman Sudarshan Bajgain, National Secretary of Nepal Scouts Lok Bahadur Bhandari, Kathmandu District Chairman of the CPN (UML), Krishna Rai, and a social worker Ramlal Chaudhary ,every one should be involve in providing support to the quake survivors.
