Kathmandu, August 18, 2016: The plane hijacked four decades ago, on June 10, 1973 amidst the Nepali Congress led uprising, has recently been sold just for 1 US Dollar.
The ill-fated plane that met into a crash on February 16, 2014 in Arghakhanchi has now been kept in BP Museum.
Breaking the record of crashed-planes reaching to scraps, the historic plane had made its way to the museum.
The remainder of the plane carrying the significant political history of Nepal had made its way to the museum in the assistance of the company McLarens AVIATION. It is mentioned in the agreement paper that the museum has purchased the plane from Nepal Airlines Corporation for US$1.00.
