Melamchi,23 Feb 2015: Two businesspersons have threatened Sindhupalchowk-based correspondent for Karobar Daily, Tanka Khadka, taking over a news report published about them.
Traders Rabindra Shrestha and Sudarshan Pradhan, who had taken land on rent, issued threat to the reporter over the news coverage titled “Annual rent of one ropani of land amounts to Rs 161′. The businesspersons admonished journalist Khadka not to follow the news on land issue otherwise he would face action.
“We are the folks of Chautara and could invite anything against you”, Khadka quoted them as saying.
However, businessperson Shrestha and Pradhan refuted the claim of Khadka.
