Kathmandu, November 30, 2016:Â Times International College and Xavier International College have won the boys’ and girls’ titles respectively in the First Rosebud Valley-Wide Inter-School Basketball Tournament on Wednesday.
In the tournament held at Rosebud’s court, Times registered a 51-46 victory over CCRC College. Akash Nakarmi, was declared the most valuable player (MVP) of the tournament.
Similarly, in the girls’ league, Xavier won over NASA International College 27-26. Mina Gurung of Xavier was announced the MVP of the tournament from in the girls’ section.
Nepal Basketball Association’s General Secretary Narendra Thapa distributed trophies, medals and certificates to the winners.
Twelve teams in the boys’ section and eight in the girls’ section from Kathmandu valley had participated in the tournament that started from November 22.
