Kathmandu, August 4, 2017: IC Tech Media has today announced top 5 shortlists for the ICT Award 2017 that is going to honor the experts and talents of the ICT sector in Nepal.
An eight-member jury panel had selected the finalists from among top 10 entrants from a rigorous screening process.
Top 5 in the startup companies that were selected are Basobaas Nepal Pvt Ltd, Catchyroad Inc., Paaila Technology Pvt Ltd, SoAni Tech Pvt Ltd, and Zeftware Solutions. Similarly, the top 5 in the best innovative product are Big Foot, Everest Cast, Gunaso, Nepal VR and Pari robot.
As many as 43 companies had applied for ICT Startup Award. Similarly, 52 had applied for the Innovative product category.
Similarly, a voting process has begun from today itself for these successful startups and innovative products.

The top 3 winners in both the categories of the competition will be honored amids a special award ceremony being organized on August 18, 2017, in Kathmandu. Similarly, one personality will be honored with ICT Pioneer Award on the occasion, and a Nepali personality working from the diaspora to promote the technology sector of Nepal will be awarded ICT Diaspora Award.
