Myagdi, 24 Oct 2014: Tourists coming for the Round Dhaulagiri trek have started returning from Dhaulagiri Base Camp at Mudi VDC of Myagdi district.

They returned from the base camp without reaching the destination due to blizzard that took place at mountainous areas on the second week of October.

A tourist guide, Dendi Sherpa, said the tourists have started returning from the base camp as the snow-storm damaged trekking routes.

Sherpa said a 40-member team comprising eight Germany nationals came for the Round Dhaulagiri trek through Sherpa Adventure Travels returned from the Italy Base Camp.

The team headed by Sherpa has started visiting tourism sites of Myagdi district via Annapurna-Dhaulagiri Trekking Route.

The tourists have started returning from base camps feeling insecure after two Slovakia national and three Nepalis recently buried to death in the snow following the blizzard, it is learnt.

Sherpa further said that around 45 teams of tourists of different countries including Germany, France and Spain have returned from the base camps.
