‘Traffic Communication Apps’ for Safe and Comfortable Travel

Lahan, February 13, 2019: On the purpose of reducing road accidents in roads province-2 has started the use of ‘Traffic Communication Apps’ from Sunday.

The police headquarters, highway security, and Traffic Directorate brought the apps into action to inform whether drivers have been changed in the long route commuter vehicles.

As mentioned by Hari Bahadur Pal, province-2 police chief and Deputy Inspector General of Nepal Police established such app aiming to practice in Sambhunath municipality of Saptari.

Likewise, DIG Pal added, road accidents are recurring when the long-route vehicles are being operated relying on a single driver. “From now onward the long route vehicles should arrange two drivers”.

The apps have been developed to find out whether or not the two drivers have been arranged in the long route vehicles, he added, “It would help book the vehicles breaching rules.
