Ratnanagar (Chitwan), Nov 28: A training has been imparted to women of Ratnanagar in the eastern part of Chitwan district under the 16-day national activism against gender-based violence.
The training is conducted to empower women as their inner capacity is key to fight against gender-based violence, said All Nepal Women Association Ratnanagar, the organizer.
Association Central Member and Narayani Zonal Chief Prabha Baral said the training will boost collective energy to put an end to violence against women.
Some 75 women are participating in the training.
