Kathmandu, March 20, 2018: The Art of Living Nepal Foundation has successfully concluded a three-day corporate “Training on Skills Development and Mental Health Program” on March 20, 2018, at Kathmandu. The theme of the program was ‘I Excel, I Integrate-Excellence at Workplace’.

The session included 90 faculty members of Kathmandu Engineering College and provided training on the importance of having overall health and mental well-being, tips and techniques of effective communication, stress management, teamwork, mind management, and leadership among others.

The participants expressed their perspectives regarding people’s lifestyle on the present scenario. Discussions were also made on different levels and different types of stress, distress and various ups and downs of emotions and pressure people face during the day which eventually results in an unstable state of mind. The participants supported the idea of continuing the practice for a better life experience.

Neeva Pradhan, one of the faculty members mentioned the dynamic and keen attitude of the groups towards making a positive impact in their college environment, developing their individual soft skills, developing human values and team spirit. Pradhan also expressed that she was able to balance her work, home, and social life better and juggle multiple responsibilities after attending the program.

Professor Hirendra Pradhan, Chairman of the College said that he intends to further encourage the program to help people cope with the stress that arises in the workplace and home.
