Garuda (Rautahat),26 Jan 2015: Two students have drowned at the Lalbakaiya River on Monday evening. The two died at 5:00 pm in course of a ritualistic resting of the idol of Hindu Goddess of Learning Saraswoti by the students of Cooperative Boarding School after customary worship on Sunday.
The deceased students have been identified as Izabub, 17, son of Shesh Mamataj of Akolaba VDC-2 and Khursaid Alam, 14, of Rajpur Farahadawa VDC-4.
Another person Hareram Patel sustained injuries during the process of resting the idol.
