Kathmandu, August 6, 2015: For  the Third SAFF Championship, the national Under-16 football team has left for Bangladesh today.

In a function organized today  at the ANFA complex Satdobato, Lalitpur, Lawmaker and All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) chairman Ganesh Thapa bid farewell to the team and expressed best wishes for success.

In the tournament, Nepal is in Group B competing with other six countries including Maldives and Afghanistan. The game is arranged to begin from August 9. Nepal will face Maldives on August 10.

Pakistan and Bhutan are not participating in it, though it is the SAFF game.

The Nepalese team consists defenders Pawan Karki, Laxman Pariyar, Rajan Gurung,Roman Limbu, Anos Magar, Suman Aryal and Ashish KC, other players in the team are midfielders Abhishek Rijal, Divas Urau, captain Manish Karki, Sheshehang Angdambe, Anil Maharjan, Bikas Ale, forwards Dinesh Henjan, Rajib Lopchan,  Prijan Tamang, Rejin Subba, Rajesh Pariyar and Kshitiz Raj GT and  goal keepers Arpan Karki, Akash Ranabhat and Sandesh Gurung,

In the same way, the chief coaches and assistant trainer of the team are Upendra Man Singh and Rajendra Manandhar respectively.
