Kathmandu, December 5, 2016: The U.S. Embassy in Nepal today launched its new website, and the address for the U.S. Mission online is now https://np.usembassy.gov.
The new and improved website is mobile friendly and has shortcuts to visa information, U.S. citizen services, job opportunities, and U.S. foreign policy on its homepage.
“American citizens in Nepal will find resources about passports, business people can learn about doing business in Nepal and the United States, and students can find more information about studying in America. Users may opt to sign up for e-mail updates via the homepage,” said the embassy in a statement released today after launching the new website.
“The site was redesigned to be more accessible for mobile phone users, since most Nepalis visit the site via mobile devices. It allows for faster loading of content over a mobile internet connection,” the statement added.
