Kathmandu, March 9, 2018: Uniglobe College in collaboration with Global College of Management has successfully concluded Uniglobe International Management Conference V – Recent advances in Management: Management, Initiatives and Road Ahead (UIMC-RAM-2018) from March 6 to March 7, 2018, at Uniglobe College, New Baneshwor.
As many as 600 participants where 198 researchers including 46 foreign delegates participated in the conference. The conference started with an inaugural session where Principal of Uniglobe College, Dr. Nar Bahadur Bista welcomed all delegates. Dr. Chiranjibi Nepal, Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank delivered the inaugural speech as Chief Guest.
The program highlighted on the panel discussion – Nepal’s economic relation with major Neighbors where Dr. Bhekh Bahadur Thapa Ex-Minister and Ex-Ambassador to India & USA shared Nepal’s relationship with India and the prosperous future of Nepal in economic growth. Likewise, Tanka Prasad Karki, Ex-Ambassador, China highlighted on the necessity of learning on how China is progressing ahead. Similarly, formal governor Dr. Tilak Rawal shared the beauty of free market and way forward for Nepal to make a strategic move.
Conference Chair Professor Dr. Radhe Shyam Pradhan addressed that 94 research papers have been presented in six themes from 4 different countries – Nepal, Bangladesh, India, and Slovenia which will be published in the journals of Management, Business and Economics of the college.
The conference addressed six themes- issues and challenges in modern banking, Human resource management, organization behavior and CSR, marketing management issues and challenges, financial management issues and challenges, contemporary issues in management and Financial services management issues and challenges.
Dr. Chiranjibi Nepal shared, “This conference will help to bring workforce diversity and economy of an organization. Because we need to value employees in organization to get competitive advantage and this conference is going to help management to decide different HRM tools for the implementation of employee motivation through the research findings.’’
