Kathmandu, June 18, 2018: In recent times, world over, creative careers have had a huge rise world-over. These are careers related to fashion, design, animation and graphics, films, advertising, journalism and media. In case of India, the combined design, fashion and media industry has crossed USD 50 billion now. In case of Nepal too, only the media and entertainment industry has crossed some Rs.600 crores NC, and fashion is on top of that with no clear figures.
However, in case of Nepal, the formal professional learning of skills and knowledge for these careers is still to grow. There is surely the immense need of awareness about these careers, its qualifications, skills, types and uses. To answer to these aspect, a round table discussion on the NEW AGE CREATIVE CAREERS (of Design, Fashion, Films, Media, Communication, etc) at ICA campus, followed by a High Tea, is being organized at 13: 30 pm on June 20th, 2018, Wednesday.
