Jajarkot, December 7, 2016: The locals of Paramulsam and Mulsam villages located at the border with Jumla are forced to walk for four grueling hours just to recharge their mobile phones.

The two villages lie at one of the remote part of the district. The villagers have lamented the fact that they have remained untouched no matter what kind of system suffused the country. They travel for four hours to reach Ramsil to recharge the batteries of their mobile phones, local Kali Prasad Thapa said. He added that he travels for four hours to recharge his phone.

The cell tower stationed at Ratankot does not work in the morning and night and only during the daytime, which is creating a lot of problems for us, local villager, Nim Bahadur Shahi said.

The district’s Bhagawati, Daha and Morke among other places face constant problems with phone. The villagers accuse the authorities of not resolving their problems despite being informed on it.
