Gorkha, 13 December 2015: A report ‘Voices of children after Gorkha earthquake’ has been released today. The report, which incorporates situation after the earthquake, was unveiled by the Chief District Officer of Gorkha, Uddav Prasad Timalsena. The World Vision International made the report with the partnership of UNICEF, Plan Nepal and Save the Children.

The report sheds light on the situation of children of 16 quake-hit districts. Stating that quake-affected children are awaiting warm clothes to keep themselves warm in the cold, the report states, “Most of the quake affected children are facing problems in their studies.”

Unveiling the report, CDO Timalsena urged organisations to come out with a separate report by carrying out overall study of Gorkha as the district was the epicenter of the April 25 earthquake.
