Kathmandu, September 1, 2018: Wai Wai Glocal Teen Hero 2018 winner will be announced today at Hotel Soaltee Crowne Plaza, Kathmandu. After the final interview round of Top 6 finalists, the winner is to be declared of Glocal Teen Hero 2018 will be done in the presence of distinguished national and international guests.
The ceremony will be also telecasted live on Avenues Khabar from 5:30 onwards.
Wai Wai Glocal Teen Hero is a platform for teenagers to share their initiation, creativity, and enthusiasm which will then motivate them and more of the other teenagers in the nation to develop an entrepreneurial thinking.
Among the top six finalists selected from the Glocal’s 20 under 20, the honourable jury members will select the most promising youth devoted to bringing a change in the society.
Formerly, Bipana Sharma, a 17-year old child rights activist from Nawalparasi, Shantosh Lamichhane, a young scientist from Lalitpur and Sachin Dangi, 18-year-old Social Activist from Dang was honoured with the First, Second and Third Glocal Teen Hero awards in the years 2015, 2016 and 2017 respectively.
